"A Dingo ate my baby" is a phrase attributed to Lindy Chamberlain and also to Meryl Streep's depiction of Chamberlain in the movie A Cry in the Dark - also known as Evil Angels (1988) - about the death of Azaria Chamberlain, an Australian baby girl who died in 1980 at Uluru in the Northern Territory. The Chamberlain family had been vacationing at Uluru when their daughter was taken from their tent by a dingo. The authorities disbelieved the family's story about a dingo and Lindy Chamberlain was convicted of murder and her husband of being an accessory after the fact.

The phrase "A Dingo ate my baby" was not actually used by Chamberlain, nor is it used in the film. Chamberlain called out to her husband, "a dingo took my baby.^[1] In the film, Streep's character, upon discovering her daughter missing, cries out, "A dingo's got my baby."

• In the Mother Tucker episode of Family Guy (season 5, episode 2), Brian and Stewie host a radio show named "Dingo and the Baby".
• Modern Family's episode "Australia" references this joke when Claire's computer, previously being used for a project referenced as her "baby", is nabbed from a tent by a wild dog.
• In the Hot in Cleveland episode titled "That Changes Everything," when Joy's grandchild goes missing, Regis Philbin's character says "Maybe a Dingo ate it."
• In the Psych episode titled "The Old and Restless," Shawn tries to get into a retirement home by saying, "Dingo ate my baby."

Nov. 2, 2014 marks the day upon which we say goodbye to long days, and hello to long nights, as daylight saving time, which began in the spring, comes to an end.

People across the country will have to set their clocks back one hour if they want to stay on the same time as everyone else — although for some Canadians, there won't be any difference at all.

All communities in Saskatchewan except for Lloydminster shun daylight saving time in favour of Central Standard Time (CST), which means they follow the same clock all year round. The same is true of some areas in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut.

Though the spring time change has been linked to an increase in car accidents and heart attacks, there's some good health news when you turn back the clock.

The New England Journal of Medicine noted in a 2008 study that the incidence of heart attacks fell on the Monday after daylight saving time ended.

But there are conflicting reports on how the spring and fall time changes cause accidents. The Harvard Health Blog cited a Canadian study which found the number of accidents increased right after the start of daylight saving time, while a U.S. study showed accidents rising after time changes in both spring and fall. This could be due to people acclimatizing to the differences in daylight (or lack thereof) while driving, so be sure to stay alert.

Health experts recommend that people head to bed early on Saturday and wake up at their normal times on Sunday. They also recommend you soak in the daylight as soon as you rise from bed, and follow your regular schedule throughout the day.

Well the 2014 NFL season is about to get underway. The great thing is everybody has hope, every team could win the Super Bowl. What I like about the NFL is that any team really could win it every year. Sure you have your perennial winners and the teams that have played well lately but even teams that were bad last year (like 3-13 Washington) could surprise us all. It seems to happen every year.
